Job Description

  • Responsible for the general maintenance, up keep and repair of all printing presses/slitters in Printing Dept.
  • Determines priorities, coordinates and implements with the Print Department Manager, cost reduction projects, maintenance and repairs of this equipment: maintains detailed documentation as required.
  • Determines priorities, coordinates and implements with the Print Dept Manager machine repair/ replacement requirements and preventative maintenance schedules: maintains detailed documentation as required.
  • Evaluates and recommends manufacturing processes for OEE of this equipment.
  • Develop trained and skilled staff in all areas of this responsibility.
  • Assist in developing trained and skilled operators with knowledge of the positive and negative effects that they can have on this equipment.
  • Personally implements or supervises that Machine Maintenance Functions of this equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable source of external providers for Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Machining, etc. needs when required.
  • Develop and maintain suitable purchasing arrangements for commodities required for maintenance and repair of this equipment.
  • Receive price quotations and evaluate competitive products for desirability and use in areas of responsibility.
  • Communicate and drive ideas and a positive culture.
  • Actively seek to determine internal and external customer requirements in area of responsibility and whenever possible, exceed their needs.
  • Take ownership in area of responsibility for the business and improvements which will result in increased income and/ or reduces costs.

Requirement & Benefits

  • Educational Qualifications: Graduate/ITI/Diploma or a related field is preferred
  • Desired Experience: 4-5 years experience in a manufacturing company preferably in Digital Printing / Book Publishing and Printing & Packaging Industry
  • Salary: CTC 7.00 LPA + additional company benefits
